As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to mark this year’s Children’s Day, Senator (Dr.) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCA, FCTI, FFPI, has extended a heartfelt message to children across Ogun West, Ogun State, and the entire federation, describing them as the “living promise of a brighter tomorrow.”
In a stirring statement released on Tuesday and personally signed by the lawmaker, who also serves as the Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Adeola noted that children remain the heartbeat of every thriving society, adding that they carry the dreams, hopes, and greatness of the nation.
“Children are the seeds of greatness and the hope of tomorrow. As leaders, parents and guardians, we owe them an obligation to nurture their dreams, protect their innocence, and provide an environment where they can grow in peace, love, and with boundless opportunities,” he said.
The Ogun West Senator emphasized the need for renewed national focus on education, healthcare, and moral upbringing, urging policymakers and community leaders to ensure no Nigerian child is left behind due to circumstances of birth or geography.
Senator Yayi, as he is fondly called, charged the younger generation to dream boldly and grow freely, assuring them that they are not just seen and heard, but are truly “loved, valued, and destined for greatness.”
