On the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Maulud, Dr. Kenny Bello (popularly known as KAB), Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Ogun State, Nigeria, and across the globe.
In his goodwill message, Dr. Bello described Eid-El-Maulud as a solemn and historic commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), whose life and teachings embody the quintessence of peace, humility, compassion, tolerance and steadfast devotion to Almighty Allah. He noted that the Prophet’s exemplary lifestyle remains a guiding light to humanity and urged adherents of the Islamic faith to emulate these values in their daily lives.
Hon. Bello further prayed that the divine peace and blessings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) continue to abide with the Muslim Ummah, guiding them towards righteousness, strengthening family bonds with love and understanding and bringing unending joy to homes and communities.
He enjoined the faithful to use the occasion not only for merriment but also for sober reflection, prayer and renewed commitment to the noble ideals of unity, harmony and social justice. According to him, Nigeria and particularly Ogun State, stand to gain tremendously when citizens embrace peaceful coexistence, tolerance and mutual respect irrespective of differences in faith or background.
Reaffirming his unwavering support for the developmental strides of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, Hon. Bello reiterated his personal resolve to contribute meaningfully to the peace, progress and prosperity of the Gateway State. He therefore called on the Muslim Ummah to remember the State, its leadership and the entire nation in their supplications during this sacred celebration.
“May this year’s Eid-El-Maulud rekindle in us the spirit of steadfastness, inspire us to live by the enduring teachings of the Prophet and strengthen our collective resolve to build a more just, prosperous and peaceful society,” he concluded.
