Sagamu, Ogun State, came alive on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, as Dr. Babatunde Ipaye, former Ogun State Commissioner for Health and current World Bank Consultant, alongside his wife, hosted a colourful end-of-the-year party that drew an array of royalty, top government officials, captains of industry, political leaders, clerics and children.
The well-attended annual celebration held at Orion Academy, Sagamu, was a convergence of influence, tradition and goodwill, marking a fitting climax to the year and reinforcing Dr. Ipaye’s reputation as a bridge-builder across political, traditional and professional divides.
Leading the roll call of dignitaries was the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, His Royal Highness Oba Lawrence Adebajo, and His Royal Highness Oba Abdulrasheed Abayomi Banjo, the Olokine of Ojowo, whose presence added royal splendour to the occasion.
