In a landmark move to stimulate economic discourse and regional enterprise, the Ijebu Boys Association (IJBOYS) has formally extended an invitation to Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, Chairman of the Odu’a Group of Companies, to serve as Keynote Discussant at the maiden edition of the Ijebu Economic Forum, Business Exhibition, and Trade Fiesta, scheduled to hold on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Main Hall, Itoro, Ijebu-Ode, by 9:30 AM.
Themed “Health is Wealth: Catalysts to Economic Development of Ijebuland,” the forum is poised to convene over 200 stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, and policymakers, in a bid to galvanize transformative dialogue on innovation, enterprise, and inclusive development within the Ijebu corridor.
The Trade Fiesta will run concurrently, showcasing a diverse range of local products, services, and indigenous ingenuity; further reinforcing the association’s vision to spotlight the economic potential of the region.
Speaking on the invitation, Olagbuyi Oduniyi, President of IJBOYS, emphasized the significance of Otunba Ashiru’s anticipated presence and the value of his insights as a prominent industrialist and development advocate.
“Otunba Ashiru’s leadership in business and public service makes him a quintessential voice in advancing the economic fortunes of Ijebuland. We are honoured to have him join us in this milestone event,” Oduniyi noted.
